Natural remedies have been used for years and they work. Here are a few tried by myself and my friends.
Flaky Lips.
If you have flaky lips try using a soft toothbrush with a little Vaseline Petroleum Jelly. Gently brush your lips back and forth or in circles. The extra skin come right off without pain or bleeding.
Leg Cramps
If you get a leg cramp , the quickest way to get rid of it is to walk on the leg
Drinking two ounces of natural apple cider vinegar relieves involuntary muscle contractions or cramping
But, if you get leg cramps often, the best thing is to prevent them from happening in the first place.
Taking calcium and magnesium supplements and eating a banana daily prevent most leg cramps. If this alone does not do the trick, these will help increase circulation: Vitamin B Complex, Vitamin C and Vitamin E and, zinc helps your body absorb the calcium and regulate the B vitamins. For myself a combination of liquid B complex works fast as its absorbed quickly.
Leg cramps caused by insufficient fluid intake are prevented by drinking about eight glasses of water each day.
Leg cramps that occur during or after vigorous exercise can be prevented by eating a few bites of something salty and drinking at least half a glass of water before, during and after exerting yourself.
Dry Hands.
Drink lots of water to moisturize from within. Use glycerine soap. Wash only the palms of your hands when possible, keeping the backs from getting wet. Soak your hands in water for 10 minutes, then put on a light layer of Vaseline Petroleum Jelly. After it soaks in, put on another layer of vaseline. Take a Multi-Vitamin daily. Use a Humidifier in the house and wear gloves outside in the cold or wind or if you wash dishes. If your hands are very dry try a parrafin treatment for your hands.
Cracked Heels
This is a sign that that you are deficient in zinc and omega-3 fatty acids.You can moisturize your heels and wear socks at night to get that softness back ,but you have to get to the bottom of the cause.Take flaxseed oil or omega -3 concentrate.
Water Retention.
is usually caused by lack of water in your body.(swollen hands and feet). Drink lots of water and reduce your salt intake.You can also take apple cider vinegar which helps to get rid of toxins from your body and get your system balanced.
